Mystery of Air: Air is the Birth of light, each morning rising in the east. The mystery of Air teaches us the lessons of how and why we exist, the Awakening of self. Muskrats will learn these lessons with a basic understanding of nature, the seasons, living with one another, and how that affects their existence and the environment around them.

Mystery of Fire: Like the native story of wolf that stole fire for man, Fire is the spirit of transformation and action. The lessons will teach wisdom, and discretion by balancing desires of self with the needs of the greater good. Wolves will learn these lessons in active games and brotherhood. Seeking wisdom and guidance from elder wolves as they explore their options of choice and gain a greater understanding of the natural order of life, rebirth, and the divine in all things.

Mystery of Earth: Scouts will learn the lessons of Earth, the sustainer of life and the provider of food. The lesson of the never ending cycle of the great wheel, finding the wisdom to live with nature and drawing upon their strengths, interests, and understanding that learning is a never ending cycle. These tasks will be learned as Scouts take their place as peer teachers, role models and find their own way in the world.

Mystery of Water: Like the great explorers of the oceans the Mystery of Water requires courage, wisdom, and dedication to purposeful pursuits. Senior Scouts will learn these lessons by mastering their emotion, intuition, instinct, and beginning to develop heart and spiritual balance. By becoming independent and self-sufficient Senior Scouts will better able to serve their community and explore the world with purpose and intent.

The Great Mystery: Rovers will begin the lesson of the Great Spirit of Soul-seeking the wisdom of spirit, of freedom, and every lasting truth, love, and divinity. Finding purposeful life and self-mastery until they pass to the shadowy veils beyond on the great journey, which never ends.
